Gratitude 2008
Posted on | November 27, 2008 | 6 Comments
I am not living, nor am I from the United States, however, it does not prevent me from being thankful every year for so many things… Therefore, 2008 will be the year I share them with more than just my family ^_^
My husband and I reached a level of understanding and love for each other that I did not think possible… you know when the feelings are so great you do not think them likely to grow even more, well wrong! They grow indefinitely if one lets them… ♥
Something else very important happened, my mother and I started talking in a manner that made our love for each other grow even stronger and deeper in our hearts… she will probably not admit it to me, but I know she felt it too…
My brother announced that he was getting married, and his joy cannot be expressed with words, nor can mine…
The friends who are making my life so rich just by being who they are, and caring the way they do… I am blessed to share precious moments with them whenever I can… old friends, new friends… Joan, Trevor, Hélène, Mike, Cathy, Chris, Yvonne, Jan-Erik, Johannes, Christian, Chatrine & Wilma, Stanka, Denis, Natalie (Facebook), Maggie Mae, Peter, Sigge… the list would go on and on…
Last things, extremely valuable to my spirit:
My voice was heard by readers about my thoughts on Death Penalty, which means that at least one more person in the world found my article useful in the fight against injustice and did not hesitate to use it as a reference in an interview… so my goal on that matter was reached and it will bring one more little stone to saving the world! That is the reason why I write…
Finally, I took part in One.org, so the left overs of the EU budget was voted to be given to Africa’s farmers… thus, one successful step against starvation was made.
I am thankful this year for knowing and sharing what matters most…
and every year my gratitude grows greater…
Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans and all who celebrate that particular holiday ^_^

of course I should have thanked YOU for writing the piece to link to, as well. And used correct grammar in my original post.

I for one am grateful for you Claire.
Countries are just lines on a map, we are all citizen of the planet earth. We share the same blood and we breath the same air.
Life itself is something to be greatful for, and I am.
Happy good old USA Thanksgiving from a squirrel chasing K-9 in N.W. Ohio.
It sounds like things are going good for you and that makes me wag my tail.

Hey Jon,
When it comes to fight against injustice, one is always greatful to see that others do so as well… I suppose that mutual gratitude is in order!
Bless you and a great Holiday (yet again) to you too!
Hey Maggie Mae,
Have fun during the holiday and make sure to thank the tree rats that give you plenty of activities all year round ^_^
Bless you! Claire
